MAHAJUBILEE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, EDATHUA is a Health Care Institute run by the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS), Changanacherry. This institution is established in the year 2000 by Msgr. James Parappally who is a native from Edathua and M J M Hospital is the fulfillment of his dream. The people from this area were troubled without good health care because of the geographical position of this area and lack of sufficient transport system. It is a 100-bedded hospital with 13 doctors and 10 departments with X-ray and Computerized Laboratory facilities, Mortuary and Ambulance services. It is note worthy that many of our doctors are the important figures in Kerala in their respective fields. Now this is one of the leading multispeciality hospitals in Kuttanad, providing medical care facilities especially in emergency situations. MJMHospital also provide 24 hours Casuality services.
